The day will be filled with opportunities for conversation, learning, worship, refreshment, inspiration and sharing of resources. Be prepared to hear stories of important and vital ministries in our synod…and beyond!  You can browse displays, shop at a Fair Trade Store and purchase resources from the Walk Along the Way Bookstore.

Worship at this event is designed to reflect the theme, “Feeding the Body: Living Abundantly.”  The components of worship (Gathering, Word, Meal, Sending) are interwoven throughout the day.  Opening worship begins with the Gathering Rite and hearing the Word.  We will continue to gather around the Word through a participatory Bible study during lunch.  The closing liturgy for the day will resume with the proclamation of the Gospel and continue with the eucharistic Meal and Sending.

Bishop Hoover

David Lose will serve as preacher for the closing liturgy and Bishop Hoover will preside.  Music leaders are Mark Mummert and Karen Buckwalter.
